City of Lebanon Authority Wastewater Treatment Facility - Nutrient Reduction Additions and Alterations Project. 

Scope of the Project: To reduce the amount of nitrogen discharged into the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. This Project will encompass major renovations to the Wastewater Treatment Facility in order to remain compliant within newly established limits as set forth by State and Federal Agencies. Additionally, antiquated equipment will be updated and automated as part of the Project.  
 
The Project includes construction of a new Primary Power Center Building; replacement of existing chemical feed systems; modifications to Primary and Secondary Pump Stations; modifications to the Bioreactor Tanks; replacement of process aeration blowers; construction of New Mixed Liquor Pump Station; replacement of existing final clarifier mechanisms; replacement of existing filter building with new Denitrification Filter Building, including methanol storage and feed system; replacement of existing UV system including new UV building; modification of existing anaerobic digestion system including new fixed primary digester cover, dual membrane gasholder cover on secondary digester, and pumped recirculation mixing of secondary digester; construction of new Biosolids Processing Building including centrifuge dewatering and biosolids drying systems; Process Monitoring and Control system; sitework; and associated plumbing, HVAC and electrical work for the facilities.

The staff and services sections were recently updated.  The most current organization chart has been uploaded.  Also, under the Finance and Billing services a change was to the Landlord Tenent Form.

Our 2008 Water Quality report has been uploaded as a PDF.  Benefits offered to our employees have been listed in the Benefits section under JOBS.  Our newest project has been added to the PROJECTS page.  The staff and board pages have been updated.  Coming soon...the history of the Authority.

Open Records

 
The City of Lebanon Authority’s public records are available in accordance with the Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. 67.101, et seq., with respect to requests for access to public records.  For the convenience of the public, Right-to-Know Request Forms may be downloaded from the Authority’s website by clicking here.
 
The completed form shall be submitted to Open-Records Officer, Jonathan R. Beers, P.E., 2311 Ridgeview Rd., Lebanon, PA  17042.  Email: jbeers@lebanonauthority.org.  Fax: 717-675-2121.
 
The City of Lebanon Authority will fulfill a request for records within five business days from the date the request is received, or provide written notice that the request is being reviewed or denied.  Reasonable fees as recommended by the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records may be levied for postage, duplication, electronic conversion of records to paper, among others. 
 
If a written request is denied, the requester may appeal to the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records within 15 business days of the mailing date of the Authority’s response denying the records.  Additional information regarding the filing of an appeal is available at www.openrecords.state.pa.us.
